Corrections
If something in the physics, maths or biology library is wrong, we would rather know. This page is how you tell us, and the log below is the record of what has been corrected so far.
Telling us
Write to support@inklearning.co.uk with the address of the page and what you think is wrong with it. A sentence is plenty. If you are quoting a specification or a mark scheme, saying which board and which paper makes it much faster to check.
What happens then
Every report is checked against the source rather than taken on trust, in both directions: we have had reports that turned out to be right and reports that turned out to be a board difference rather than an error, and both are worth having. If a page is wrong it is fixed and rebuilt. If it is right, you get an explanation of why, which is usually the more interesting reply.
Things worth reporting that are not errors
A sentence that is technically true and still misleading. A diagram that does not read on a phone. A term used before it is defined. Wording that matches no board's mark scheme. Those are harder for us to find than factual mistakes, because everything here was written by somebody who already knew the answer.
Correction log
Substantial corrections are logged here by date, with the library each one affected. The log is kept at this address rather than inside a library because what it records is not one library's: the three are written and reviewed together, and a review that corrects one of them usually corrects another in the same week.
- 28 August 2026 · Physics: the answer booklet for the Drag and terminal speed workbook marked DT-A1 as though friction at the tyres were one of the two resistive forces on a cyclist. On a bicycle being pedalled, the road's static friction on the driven tyre acts forwards: it is the traction, and it is the one horizontal contact force at the tyre that is not resisting the motion. A student who knew that and said so was being marked against a booklet that was wrong. The mark scheme now names rolling resistance as the resistive force, keeps friction in the bearings as the alternative it always was, and says plainly that friction from the road may act forwards. The question itself was already correct and is unchanged.
- 22 August 2026 · Biology: the past-papers page for OCR A told readers that OCR's papers cannot be listed by series, because OCR's filenames name the component and not the sitting. That was never true: OCR's own assessment page groups its files by series, and reading it gives nine H420 series and 97 papers, mark schemes and examiner reports. The sentence has gone and the nine series are listed.
- 14 August 2026 · Biology: the second half of the editorial review, with corrections across the immunity, inheritance, nervous system, hormones, respiration, photosynthesis, evolution, classification, ecology, gene technology, nutrition and scientific method units, and the question bank, flashcards and workbooks regenerated to match.
- 13 August 2026 · Biology: the first half of the editorial review, with corrections across the cells, cell cycles, molecules, enzymes, membranes, nucleic acids, exchange, plant transport and animal transport units.
- 13 August 2026 · Maths: twelve corrections from the same review, largely missing conditions and hedges on stated results.
- 12 August 2026 · Physics: corrections across the Year 12 and 13 core and the option units, plus a rewrite of the standard-error wording used in practical answers.
This log is the public record. The repository these libraries are built from is private, so there is no fuller history to link to; anything missing from the list above is missing from what we publish, and worth writing in about.
