Accessibility

InkBiology is designed for keyboard, screen-reader and mobile use. Pages include a skip link, visible keyboard focus, structured headings, text descriptions for figures and reduced-motion support. The checklist, flashcards and question practice can be used without a mouse.

What is built in

Every figure is an SVG carrying an accessible description, and can be enlarged in a dialog that keyboard users can open, close with Escape and return from. Animated figures respect your reduced-motion setting and start paused if you have one set. Mark schemes are ordinary lists rather than images, and nothing here depends on colour alone to carry a meaning.

Known limitations

Printable workbooks and card packs include document structure and reading order, but they have not yet completed an end-to-end screen-reader review. The same questions and flashcards are available as HTML. So far only one lesson page has been walked end to end by a screen-reader user.
