Where the numbers come from

Every figure on this page is counted from what you have graded, finished and rated, on this device, and it is not sent anywhere unless you sign in.

When you sign in, your answers, ratings, reading and plan are shared with your other browsers. The daily counts behind the streak are copied between browsers rather than added together: for each day, the copy synced last is kept.

The last five weeks

One square a day, coloured by four rules in this order: that day's plan finished, flashcards graded but the plan not finished, a study day that went by with neither, and a day you never set aside.

Today is never marked missed, and nor is any day before this browser first recorded anything.

Where your cards sit

Every card you have graded is grouped by the gap before it comes back: a day for a card you are still learning, three weeks or more for one you know well.

A card you miss moves back to a shorter gap. Expect a large count at one day while a deck is new.

Reading and the checklist

Reading counts a topic, unit by unit, once it is marked as read: at the end of a lesson in the installed app, or from Today's plan. Confident counts how many of the library's 608 objectives you have rated confident.

Once every topic is read, Today brings back the topics with the lowest ratings. An unrated topic comes back first.

Built from your own grading, reading and checklist ratings, and kept on this device unless you sign in.

Checklist

Everything here is counted from records on this device, and those records go nowhere unless you sign in to the optional account, which carries them between your devices. Without one, the copy and import controls on the flashcards and checklist pages let you move them by hand.
