What Anki is, and why you might want it

Anki is a spaced-repetition app for phone and laptop. It schedules cards on the ratings you give them, as the player here does, and it can sync between your own devices and hold cards from every subject in one place.

Re-importing a newer version of a deck updates the cards and keeps the progress you have made. Each card carries an identifier that does not change when the deck is rebuilt, so a corrected definition updates in place where Anki matches that identifier.

The same cards on paper, eight to an A4 sheet, in a navy edition and an ink-saving print edition. Print double-sided, flipping on the long edge, and each answer lands behind its question; then cut along the borders. The packs hold the definition and spot-the-error cards; the check-yourself cards are in the player and the Anki decks.

Free to download and to use. The cards are original InkChemistry material and are not offered under a Creative Commons licence: use them to revise, and please do not republish them as your own.
