A-level Chemistry past papers
Choose your qualification to see its paper structure and links to the awarding body’s official past papers and mark schemes. InkChemistry links to official sources and does not reproduce the files.
Using a past paper
Sit a whole paper only once you have been taught most of what it examines; each paper page here says what that is. Sit it in one go and to the time the board allows. Mark it with the board’s mark scheme the same day, and give yourself a mark only where your answer makes the point the scheme lists, not where you meant it. Write down each point you missed and the topic it came from, then practise those topics in the question bank before you sit the next paper. Boards publish a limited number of papers, and a paper you have already seen is no longer a fair test of how you would do in the exam.
If you have run out of papers, or want one topic rather than a whole paper, the question bank will give you original questions on any topic with point-by-point mark schemes.
