Cambridge International A-level Biology 9700 Paper 1: Multiple Choice

9700/1 · 1 hour 15 minutes · 40 marks · 15.5% of the A level.

What it examines

Forty multiple-choice questions on the AS Level syllabus content.

Forty questions in 75 minutes is a little under two minutes each, so practise at that pace and do not stay long on one question. The mark scheme for a multiple-choice paper is a list of the correct answers. For each one you got wrong, find the topic it tested and practise that topic in the question bank before you sit another paper. Cambridge makes only a selection of its papers public, so keep one back for timed practice close to the exam.
