Cambridge International A-level Chemistry 9701 past papers
Where Cambridge International publishes its own 9701 question papers and mark schemes, and what each of the five papers is: read off the specification, Version 1, published September 2022.
Where to get them
Cambridge International publishes them itself, on Cambridge’s past-paper page for Chemistry 9701. Checked against Cambridge International’s own listing on 29 October 2026.
Cambridge publishes far less of its archive than the other three boards here. On the day this list was checked, its public page carried one examined series, June 2024 (variant 1 of each paper), and the 2022 specimen papers. Cambridge's own words for that are “This is only a selection of our papers. Registered Cambridge International Schools can access a wide range of teaching and learning materials and examination resources through our School Support Hub.” The rest is in the School Support Hub, which needs a registered centre's login, so a Cambridge student without one has a single sat paper per component and not nine years of them.
Cambridge changed the layout and formatting of its question papers from March 2026 for accessibility, and says the assessment content, demand and types of questions will not change. A 2024 paper is still the right practice, but it will not look like the paper you sit.

The rules for the day
Cambridge's syllabus suggests the functions a calculator should have if one is used and prints no permission sentence, so this page does not claim one. Ask your centre, or read the instructions printed on the front of the paper itself, which is where the rule that binds on the day appears.
