Sign in with a Google account and this device’s progress can follow you to another one; revision done anywhere is merged, never overwritten. What an account stores, and how to delete it, is set out on the privacy page.

Download your account data, including your email address, synced progress and recent device sign-ins. No password or token is in it, so it is safe to keep or forward.
Leaving
Signing out leaves this device’s progress alone; signing out everywhere signs out every device holding this account the next time it talks to the server. Deleting the account erases the account and everything synced with it, immediately; each device keeps whatever it already holds.
