What the cards are for
271 cards across 23 units. Each card holds one item to produce from memory: an exact value, a standard result the formulae booklet does not print, a definition in precise wording.
Answer each card before turning it over, then choose Again, Hard or Good to schedule the next review.
Again, Hard and Good
Again: the card comes back soon, with the gap cut to about a fifth, and again later in this session. Hard: the gap stays as it was. Good: the gap grows, up to about three months.
The keys 1, 2 and 3 do the same. Two answers to one card on the same day count as the lower of the two.
Revise, learn, or cram
The first button reviews the cards that are due, the ones you are most likely to have forgotten first. With none due it introduces up to 20 cards you have not seen, from topics you have read first; with none of those, it shuffles the selection. Learn new: up to 20 unseen cards. Cram: every selected card in random order, whether or not it is due.
The selectors above set which cards all three draw from. Every card you grade counts towards its schedule, here or on Today.
Why some cards are missing
Only cards in your course are included: your optional unit decides which.
Change the setting under Your plan on Today to include those cards again. With no optional unit set, every option is included.
Revise 271 cards covering standard results, definitions, short recall prompts, check questions and common misconceptions. Answer from memory, then rate the response as Again, Hard or Good to set the next review interval.
Progress lives in this browser, on this device, unless you sign in, just like the revision checklist. For offline revision, the Anki decks and printable packs carry the same 271 cards.
How the five kinds differ
Standard results ask for a formula or value that may need to be recalled. Definitions ask for a mathematical term to be stated precisely. Recall prompts ask for a rule, condition or method. Check yourself cards contain a short question and answer. Spot the error cards ask you to correct an inaccurate claim.
The collection, deck by deck
Every deck’s cards have a page of their own, with a player scoped to them. The session above draws on the whole collection, or on one deck if you choose one; either way your schedule is the same schedule everywhere.
