What each paper asks
H240/01
Pure Mathematics. The Pure Mathematics content, in a single section of 100 marks.
H240/02
Pure Mathematics and Statistics. Two separate sections, one per subject, of approximately 50 marks each. Some statistics questions are set in the context of the pre-release large data set.
H240/03
Pure Mathematics and Mechanics. Two separate sections, one per subject, of approximately 50 marks each.

Which series exist
Eight series, read from OCR’s assessment page for Mathematics A H230/H240 on 31 August 2026: June 2018 · June 2019 · November 2020 · November 2021 · June 2022 · June 2023 · June 2024 · June 2025.
No summer series was sat in 2020 and 2021. The summer exams were cancelled and grades were awarded without them. The November 2020 and November 2021 papers were sat by students who chose to take them, so those years only seem to be missing from the list above.
