AQA, OCR, Edexcel and CIE A-level Physics specifications
The library is organised by physics; a board view maps a specification onto it.
Choose by the qualification code, not the board name. It is the first part of the paper number on the front of every past paper, and your teacher can confirm it: 7408 for AQA, H556 for OCR A, 9PH0 for Edexcel and 9702 for CIE. OCR Physics B (Advancing Physics) and the Pearson International A level are different qualifications, and neither is mapped here. Each board page lists the outline of that specification in the order the board prints it, with every row linked to the lesson that teaches it and any row no lesson covers marked where it sits.
A word on how to read the chips: a chip on a lesson means the lesson covers material from that specification section, not that it covers every statement in it. The depth a board wants can differ, and each board view marks every row it does not cover where that row sits, rather than leaving it out. Check your own specification when a mark depends on it.
And a word on the four row counts you will meet inside. The boards do not publish at the same grain, so the counts are not interchangeable: AQA in outline headings, Edexcel in specification statements, OCR A in specification statements, CIE in learning outcomes. Each map says which it is counting and what one row of it stands for. The readings were last checked on 12 August 2026.
