What the cards are for

851 cards across 19 units. Each card holds one item to produce from memory: a definition in the words a mark scheme accepts, an equation, a value you are expected to know.

Answer each card before turning it over, then choose Again, Hard or Good to schedule the next review.

Again, Hard and Good

Again: the card comes back soon, with the gap cut to about a fifth, and again later in this session. Hard: the gap stays as it was. Good: the gap grows, up to about three months.

The keys 1, 2 and 3 do the same. Two answers to one card on the same day count as the lower of the two.

Revise, learn, or cram

The first button reviews the cards that are due, the ones you are most likely to have forgotten first. With none due it introduces up to 20 cards you have not seen, from topics you have read first; with none of those, it shuffles the selection. Learn new: up to 20 unseen cards. Cram: every selected card in random order, whether or not it is due.

The selectors above set which cards all three draw from. Every card you grade counts towards its schedule, here or on Today.

Why some cards are missing

Only cards in your course are included: your exam board and your optional unit decide which.

Change the setting under Your plan on Today to include those cards again. With no optional unit set, every option is included.

Small on purpose: definitions in the exact wording, the equations that are not on the AQA data sheet, and the misconceptions that lose marks, one fact to a card. Longer exam-style questions live under Practise. Grade yourself and each card comes back after a gap set by your answer, from the next day out to three months: a right answer sends it further away, a miss brings it back the next day.

Progress lives in this browser, on this device, unless you sign in, just like the revision checklist. For offline revision, the Anki decks and printable packs carry the same cards.

The collection, unit by unit

Every unit’s cards have a page of their own, with a player scoped to them: 851 cards across 19 units. The session above draws on the whole course, or on one unit if you choose one; either way each card keeps one schedule everywhere.
